So, if you spend a day running everywhere it'll just turn out to no info to show. First, it won't do it's automatic measure thing unless you are somewhat still. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes I take a 1h nap and it registers 20min. Sleep - Tends to register the time I fall asleep with a 20min delay and doesn't track naps all that well.So basically, I'm doing 1000 steps/day because it won't count what I do at home and going outside isn't really advisable at this time.

If you're walking on the street it'll be reasonably accurate, even if your arms aren't moving (for example, if you have your phone in your hand). It just won't count normal, quiet, "at-home" steps. Not sure if my saturation is changing on those moments or what's happening. It takes about 20 seconds of standing perfectly still with your arm laying on the table to get a reading and getting 2-3 consecutive readings will yield different results.

It's not a one time thing everytime they fix\add something, something else breaks. At the same time, they broke the sleep stages on the friends pages. Just today, they launched an update with the notes "The summary view of the workout records supports statistics by year". Everytime one of these is fixed, something else breaks. Who'd possibly want to have this measured in such a way?įurthermore, it's riddled with small bugs. As soon as you open it, a small detail will immidiatly immidiatly tell you that no common sense went into it: They give you the total time slept in absolute values. Turning everything off - and not using the battery saving mode - I'd say the battery would last 8 days. My watch use is mainly to see notifications on my wrist and I'll track a walk every 3 days or so. I have all the features on - and it's fair to assume that anyone who buys this watch wants them - such as sleep tracking, stress monitor, AOD (while awake turns off when I'm asleep) and so on and the battery lasts about 3,5 days. They just about about technical specs that they can't take advantage of due to poor software engeneering and a general lack of care for the customer's overall experience.įor reference, I'm using a Xiaomi MiNote 10 with MiUI 12 phone.Ĭlaims to last "14 days" on normal use but that's a fantasy. Unfortunately, it follows the old chinese-tech trend of great hardware plagued by software and firmware issues. Barely anything is as smooth as it should be, the software is basically made to copy Huawei with no actual attempt to improve anything and it absolutely does not justify the price. For a 170€ Watch in 2020, you'd expect a much better experience than it offers. I've been using the watch for a month now and thought I'd let you know my honest accessment since most reviews I saw seem to sugar-coat a lot of issues.
