If your teen is under the age of 18, you sign the agreement as a guardian. Who needs to sign a Teen coaching agreement? However, we do encourage your child to share information with you, especially if it’s important. Further, it means that we will not disclose the information you share with us to your child and vice versa. This means that will we never share any of your details with anyone without permission. We guarantee your family’s privacy and the privacy of you (the parent) and your child, individually. We guarantee that if your child follows the plan we put in place and fully commit to the coaching program, they will get excellent results from their teen coaching. Your child lacks respect for the adults in their life and doesn’t see them as resources. Your child is struggling with something that happened in their past, whether it’s a mistake they made, a family situation they had to deal with (like divorce), bullying, loss or another traumatic event. They can hardly keep their focus and never seem to have time for anything. Your child has no idea how to manage their time, is scatter brained and is late to school, events or with assignments. Your child lacks motivation, drive and discipline to start, to finish what they start or to do the best job they can. They don’t always admit when they do something or don’t do something. Your child doesn’t take responsibility, whether it’s for their health, homework, chores or extracurricular activities. Your child is afraid to try things, is too shy or timid, has a hard time making friends and avoids a social life Your child lacks self-esteem, is afraid to commit to projects and doesn’t display confidence in their skills or abilities Your child doesn’t communicate well at school and/or at home, avoids meaningful conversations, hides out in the bedroom Your teen is not displaying any desire to plan for the future and doesn’t talk about any interests or passions Your child is committed to school, but having trouble academically, whether they lack focus or effort We meet with your child for ongoing coaching sessions (the frequency of the sessions depends on your child’s individualized plan, typically biweekly.) We will be in contact with you between sessions to answer questions and update you on how your child is doing. We’ll then meet to discuss the assessment results, update you on how our strategy session went with your child and lay out the plan for ongoing coaching sessions. We write a detailed report outlining the results of our assessment and include tips on how you can support your child at home. Based on the assessment results and our initial coaching session with your child, we create a personalized success strategy and meet with your child to go over their goals and the success strategy. We’ll assess your child’s emotional intelligence and processing abilities, aptitute, attitude, strengths and weaknesses over 3 different sessions, 1.5 hours each.
